Thankfulness Thursday – Accountability

I don’t have an eloquent or fancy post, or a pretty picture to go with it.  None would do the subject matter justice.  It’s just plain and simple this morning.  I am so very grateful to The Lord for ACCOUNTABILITY.  Even more to the point, I’m thankful for those whom the Lord is using to hold me accountable.  He has placed people in my life, who exhibit His fruit to everyone they meet.  These are the same people, whom I trust with my life and soul.  They pray for me and my family on a regular basis.  We may not see each other for a while, but pick up right where we left off like no time has passed.  We can sit down and discuss our walks with the Lord for hours on end.  I know if I’m doing something to drift off of God’s narrow path, they will call me out on it.  Coming to me in love, they will remind me of His Word and exhibit an example that I need to follow.  They will love and support me through every trial.  The people I trust most are those who are not afraid to speak the truth to me and who care more about my eternal destination than my financial security, social status, weight, hair color, fashion statements, entertainment.  I thank God for these people because they are precious treasures in my life.  You know who you are.  I don’t know how I’d make it through my journey in this ole world without you.  I’m so blessed to have you in my life!
